Change text color and background color of the command prompt in Windows 7

To change the text color and background color of the Command Prompt, perform the following steps:
1. Open Command Prompt window by clicking Start button , All Programs, Accessories, then Command Prompt.
2. Right-click on the title bar of the Command Prompt window and click Properties to open "Command Prompt" Properties dialog box.
3. Click Colors tab and do the following:
To change the color of the text, click Screen text radio button and then click on any of the color or enter a color value from the Selected Color Values section.
To change the color of the Command Prompt window, click Screen Background radio button and then click on any of the color or enter a color value from the Selected Color Values section.
4. Click OK once you had made the changes.
