Change the number of lines to scroll for each notch of mouse wheel movement in Windows 7

You can regulate the speed of the scroll for each notch of mouse wheel movement as by default, the next three lines are displayed. You can adjust this and set a new value. Perform the following steps to do so:
Ctrl key from the keyboard. Perform the following steps to do so:
1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
2. If the View by: is Category then click on Hardware and Sound. Under Devices and Printers, click Mouse. If the View by: is Large icons or Small icons then click on Mouse.
3. Click the Wheel tab. In the Vertical Scrolling section, click the Up arrow to increase the number of lines or click the Down arrow to decrease the number of lines to change the number of lines to scroll for each notch of mouse wheel movement.
You may also a value directly in the number box.
4. Click Apply and then click OK.
