Make folders to open in separate window in Windows 7

In Windows 7, when you open a folder then the contents of the folder gets displayed in the same window. You may change this setting and make Windows 7 open a new window when you open a folder. To do this, perform the following steps:
1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
2. If the View by: is Category then click on Appearance and Personalization and then click Folder Options. If the View by: is Large icons or Small icons then click on Folder Options.
3. Under General tab, click Open each folder in its own window.
4. Click Apply and then click OK.
