You can change the font of any part of windows (for example: Active Title Bar, Message Box, Menus). This change does not affect the font for the files that you create (for example: Microsoft Word document, Notepad file). To change the Windows fonts, perform the following:
1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
2. If the View by: is Category then click on Appearance and Personalization and then click Personalization. If the View by: is Large icons or Small icons then click on Personalization.
3. Click Window Color.
4. Click Advanced appearance settings... to open Window color and Appearance dialog box.
5. Click Item: and click to make changes to the appropriate selected item. Now, you can do the following:
To change the font, click Font: and select a font from the list.
To change the color, click Color: and select a color.
To change the size, click Size: and select the size from the list.
You may also make the text appear bold, italic.
(Repeat the same for other items)
