Add Computer icon to the desktop in Windows 7

By default, Computer icon is not present on the desktop. You may add the Computer icon to the desktop by performing the following steps:

1. Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and click on Personalize.
2. From the left pane, click Change desktop icons.
3. In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box, under Desktop icons section, click to place a check mark beside Computer.
4. Click Apply and then click OK.
